The AB Gallery:
Appalachian Backroads™ Collection

Some roads are measured in distance.
Others are measured in time.

Appalachian Backroads™ is about what you notice when you slow down. A man pedaling past the railroad tracks in the first light. Three old vans settled into the weeds. A mill wheel beside a mountain creek. A long building mirrored in the Dan River. Huckleberries ripening on the branch, a balloon rising into open sky, two people leaning into each other at the end of the day.

None of these are the reasons people take the drive. They are what is there when you stop hurrying toward somewhere else.

Each work is made across the Appalachian Highlands and offered as a limited-edition archival print for private collections and exhibition.
